The Abandoned Hospital

It was in the holidays and Harry was on his computer playing action wizard games! "Harry, get down those stairs right now! All you've been doing is playing video games and nothing else! Get out of the house and get some fresh air." bellowed his mother. "Do I have to?" thought Harry glumly, "Alright fine!" He trotted down the stairs and packed his backpack. He gave his hugs and kisses and as he was about to leave his mum called out to him, " Don't wander off to the abandoned hospital, it's unstable, you can get into big trouble if you set a single limb in there. Those builders should take it down... Alright then, off you pop!". With temptation and curiosity in his mind, he goes to get answers for his questions from his best friends.

Harry was at the entrance of the KFC shop and called his besties (Ron and Hermione) to come over to KFC and have a catch-up on what they have done so far in the holidays. After waiting for 15 minutes in the cold, they were finally in the shop munching away their meals. Harry kept all of his questions in about the deserted hospital until he blurted it all out! " I don't want to talk about it. It gives me the heebie-jeebies!" stuttered Ron sounding petrified. " Whatever your thinking Harry, it's not a good idea. Anything can be behind those damp, fungi walls. But if you really want to... I'm in!!!" " Well, you'd better cause I am going there tomorrow. I dare myself and both of you to go there tomorrow night! Anyone have a plan??" " I probably have the best plan (obviously). We'll tell our parents before we leave to go to the abandoned hospital; that we are going to meet up at the library to do homework. Everyone agree with me here?" exclaimed Hermione. "Yes," Ron and Harry said in unison...

It was starting to get dark and it was almost 6:30 and Harry told his mum the excuse and she let him go! He thought it wouldn't work, but it did! He went to the library and met his friends. The wind was howling as if it were a toddler crying for its mother! The thunder like a man stomping! They were finally at their destination. They looked for the door but then realised that it was blocked so they had to search for another entrance. 2 minutes later, Harry found a gap in the wall; big enough to crawl under! " I'm not sure if this is a good idea!" moaned Ron. " Oh, would you stop being a baby! What could go wrong?" said Harry annoyed...

They squeezed through the hazardous gap. As they got up to their feet, they walked down the hallway and heard a big thud. They turned around and saw their exit was now blocked! They continued strolling (but nervously this time) and saw on a wall in red 'G'. They continued walking and entered a room labelled 'Files'. The minority of the door was with what looked like splats of blood. They cautiously walked in trying not to make their adventure any worse. And as they went in, the door went BANG! Ron ran after the door and tugging... It was locked! The overpowered wind closed it!!!

"I want my mum or teddy bear!" cried Ron. He kept on tugging until... He broke the handle!!! "Oh thanks, Ron, now we have less of an advantage of getting out," Hermione said in rage. Harry suggested to look for a paperclip, pick the lock and run out of the hospital. They all agreed and searched for one. 7 minutes later, Hermione shouted, " I found a paperclip!" they were sweating because of the main question; will the paperclip work or not? But obviously, Ron was thinking about sandwiches and hot wings. As Hermione turned the clip; the door burst open and a gust of cold, damp air came in. They were free from the wrath of the room, the only problem they had now was to get out of the hospital! Randomly (but luckily), Harry had a pocket knife and he used it to cut the wall out. It took 20 minutes to cut the out gap. They rushed out and rushed to the entrance of the library. It was 7:25 and they gave their hugs and farewells and went to their homes...
